How To Make Potpourri | Novemeber Create In Place activity

🎨Create In Place 🍊
For this month, 352Creates encourages you to make a hands on craft! We made a fall inspired potpourri using what we already had at home.
To try out this homemade potpourri, here is what you need:
* Oranges
* Lemons
* Apples
* Pears
* Cinnamon sticks
* Cloves
* Bay leaves
* Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 200 degrees and slice your citrus into 1/4 inch thick slices. Arrange on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Cook in the oven for about 6 hours or until dry.
After the dried fruit is completely cool, place it in a bowl. Add dried bay leaves, a teaspoon of cinnamon, cloves, and cinnamon sticks. Mix all of the ingredients.
Pour the mixed potpourri into a jar of your choosing, and cover the opening with a decorative cloth before sealing the lid. Give as a cute gift, or save it until you’re ready to use it yourself.
