Frequently Asked Questions

352Creates is a community-based movement promoting creativity for health.

You can participate in the 352Creates movement anytime by using hashtag #352Creates on social media!

Create in Place: Second Friday of each month

Create in Community: February 25, 2018 in downtown Gainesville

Community-wide “pop-up” style activities that promote healthy living and community engagement in countless diverse and accessible locations. These events are free and open to anyone.

We want to encourage people to create in their homes or at work all throughout the year. You can be creative wherever you are, whenever you want. Show us how you Create in Place, whether it be posting a picture of a meal you cooked or a doodle you made at work, the possibilities for creativity are endless! You don’t have to consider yourself an artist to be creative. We love to see how you create. #352Creates

Anywhere in the 352 area code. At home, work,  your favorite coffee shop, art galleries, hospitals, in your car, at the park, on a walk. Everywhere. Get creative!

Organize a community-wide event or keep it simple and upload your latest coloring to social media using #352Creates. The only rule is that it has to be free for people to participate. If you’d rather just come out to a community event, that’s fine with us too!

Please fill out this form and we’ll assign you a spot!

If you’re looking for free activities, check out our Starter Kit page. You can print one out and there you go! If you have an idea but need a space to do it contact a restaurant, your church, or community center. All activities must be free and open to the public to be part of 352Creates.

We know that creativity is actually good for your health. Don’t believe it? Try it! Join the movement and let’s make Gainesville and all of 352 the healthiest area in Florida.

You can contact Charlotte, the 352Creates Coordinator: keslch@shands.ufl.edu.
