Y-Not Theatre: November’s #CreateInPlace

On the third Thursday of every month, Y-Not Theatre hosts Gainesville Playreaders at Third House Books in downtown Gainesville. A play selected by Paul Gabbard, the groups curator, is read in its entirety by attendees.

On November 10th, Gainesville Playreaders gathered for a special evening to Create in Place, promoting the idea that creativity is good for our health as individuals and as a community. Heartland by Gabriel Jason Dean was selected by Paul, who says that “Gainesville Playreaders is for everyone that acts directs, studies, writes, designs, works in or just attends the theatre.”

Y-Not Theatre and their mission to promote, develop, present, and produce new American plays in North Central Florida. For more information about Y-Not Theatre and their upcoming events, please visit: https://www.facebook.com/ynottheatre

Do you value creativity in your organization or as an individual? Create in Place is the second Friday of every month and 352Creates is promoting the idea that creativity can happen anytime, anywhere (and it’s good for our health as individuals and as a community)!

All you have to do is add #352Creates to your social media posts: make a painting; write a poem; cook a meal; tap your toes; play a song & follow along.
